A pub and restaurant house in the heart of Karl Johan street in Oslo.

We opened our doors in 1974, with a focus on Scottish Whisky and beer, as well as Scottish food trends, Scottish festive atmosphere, and especially Scottish sports enthusiasm.

Some saw the need for an all-in-one venue in the capital, and that’s how Scotsman came into being. Once the name was chosen, Scottish beverages and food trends had to be imported. Over time, it has become more European-oriented, with an updated selection of Rum, Gin, Aquavit and beer. We also regularly change our food menu. It’s with pride that we can now call ourselves one of Oslo’s most well-known pubs.

We have several floors, each individually offering something for every taste, and together they make an unbeatable package! A major renovation in 2013 propelled Scotsman to become one of the most iconic buildings in Oslo.
